THE BEST FIELD TRIP EVER!!

We just got back from the BEST field trip ever! We watched a movie at the IMAX about ancient Egypt and mummies! It was in 3-D. We had popcorn and drinks. There was a demon that looked like it was coming out of the the screen! Some of us screamed. We saw lots of hieroglyphics (picture symbols on walls and papyrus). We saw pharaohs and Gods. We saw examples: mummies, Egyptian clothing, a scribe and farmers, jewellery and temples! Our favourite parts were:

-The demon (Jake, Brianna)
-When the guy came in and they bowed for him and they were building the temple [the pharaoh Rameses visiting his temple under construction) (Owen)
-When they weighed the heart and the crocodile kind of ate it (Grace)
-When the people showed where they found the tomb of the mummies and seeing the people take all the sarcophagus  (Sienna)
-When they saw the kings and queens names written in the famous tubes [cartouches] (Ava)
-When the queen was getting all her jewellery and makeup on (Naomi)
-When we saw ancient mummy's face (Adrian)
-The popcorn! (Amber)
-When we learned that the mummies had diseases (Sienna)
-DNA is still in the bones of the ancient mummies (Sienna)
-The robbers steal [items from] the tomb (Emily)


So much fun!

    Hi Team 24!
    That does sound like the best field trip ever! I'm glad you had fun and learned more about Ancient Egypt. I never new that DNA was still in the bones of mummies. Wow! You all look so cool wearing your 3D glasses!
